There is no denying the benefits of massage, particularly when you consider the overwhelming negative influence of stress on your health. Massage is one of the best ways to keep stress at bay and walk a path toward healing and calm in your life.
“Studies of the benefits of massage demonstrate that it is an effective treatment for reducing stress, pain and muscle tension,” according to The Mayo Clinic. They also write, “While more research is needed to confirm the benefits of massage, some studies have found massage may also be helpful for:
Insomnia related to stress
Myofascial pain syndrome
Parenthesis and nerve pain
Soft tissue strains or injuries
Temporal mandibular joint pain”
Regular massage treatments will enhance physical strength and mental alertness and give a boost to your immune system. Massage as a healing art is a natural time proven method of treatment that promotes health and well being in ways unique to massage.
This is your time to relax and escape the stress of life!

This is considered the most common form of massage. Swedish massage mainly relaxes the muscles and eases aches and pains. Swedish massages are supposedly done to help in the flow of oxygen in the blood which results in the release of various toxins. It also helps stretch out ligaments and tendons making them more flexible and healthy.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue Massage is aimed at the deeper connective tissue structures of the muscle and fascia. Deep tissue massage is similar in movement and techniques to Swedish massage, but the pressure is generally more intense. It is a more focused type of massage, as your therapist works to release chronic muscle tension or adhesions (muscle knots).
By combining a foot reflexology treatment with a Swedish or deep tissue massage, you are maximizing your experience by receiving the benefits of your internal system(nervous system, circulatory system, lymphatic system) being stimulated through reflexology, and the release of toxins from your muscular system through massage.
